Position: Cardiologist

Bogdan Enache is a cardiologist at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco where he specializes in electrophysiology. His research appeared most notably in Circulation EP and PACE. He has also authored letters to the editor for American Heart Journal and International Journal of Cardiology. A reviewer for Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes (since 2018), European Heart Journal - Case Reports (since 2018) and JACC: Case Reports (since 2019), Dr Enache obtained his PhD in 2019 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Victor Babes” (his alma mater), in Timisoara (Romania), with the thesis “Ultra High Density Mapping of Persistent Atrial Fibrillation”. During his residency he became interested in the reuse of ICDs and pacemakers as well as the broader topic of health policy. Alongside his professional practice, he is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Science in Health Economics, Outcomes and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences at the London School of Economics. Besides his research in cardiology, Dr Enache takes interest in questions related to medical epistemology and the dissemination of scientific knowledge inside medical communities and beyond. A native Romanian, Dr Enache is fluent in English and French and has a basic knowledge of German.
