Position: Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist

Dr. Chin is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. He is an honorary senior lecturer at the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences, University of Leicester.

Dr. Chin received his medical degree from University of Cambridge before undergoing Cardiology and Electrophysiology training in Birmingham, Liverpool, and Ottawa. He obtained his PhD from the University of Leicester funded through a British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Fellowship to investigate autonomic modulation of ventricular electrophysiology in heart failure.

Dr. Chin remains an active researcher in his field and has authored numerous academic publications and several book chapters. His clinical and research interests encompass various interventions to optimize ablation outcomes of complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias. He is currently leading the Ventricular Tachycardia Ablation Program at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
