Dipak leads global innovation teams to implement new technology and health data to benefit the care of patients, supported by public engagement. He is Chief Investigator of clinical trials in the UK and internationally, including the NIHR-funded DaRe2THINK programme which has embedded a clinical trial platform in primary care across NHS England to encourage a diversity of people and NHS staff to engage in research. Dipak leads on major regional and global approaches in health data science, including theme lead for the NIHR-Birmingham Biomedical Research Centre, the NHS West Midlands Secure Data Environment, and Europe-wide programmes such as BigData@Heart and HYPERMARKER. He is chairing the 2024 ESC Guidelines on the management of patients with atrial fibrillation.
