Charlotte Manisty

Position: Associate Professor & Consultant Cardiologist
Location: London, UK

Charlotte Manisty is an Associate Professor at University College London and a Consultant Cardiologist at the Barts Heart Centre and University College Hospitals, London.  She set up and leads the largest cardio-oncology service in the UK at Barts and also has expertise in heart failure and cardiac imaging with particular interest in imaging patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices.

She chairs the UK Multi-Societal Working Group on MRI in patients with cardiac devices to try to ensure equitable provision of scans to these patients.

She chairs the Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Cardio-oncology group, and is Research Lead for British Cardio-oncology Society. She is regularly invited to speak both Nationally and at International conferences on Cardio-oncology and Imaging. 

She receives funding for her work from British Heart Foundation, Barts Charity and the National Institute for Health Research, supervises several PhD students and is author of over 130 publications and book chapters.
