Position: Consultant
Location: London, UK
I work at the Royal Brompton as a consultant in congenital electrophysiology. I led the initial work building an inherited cardiac conditions unit at the Royal Brompton Hospital and now lead in Channelopathies, caring for both adults and children with channel dysfunction. My major interest is in channelopathies and arrhythmia in the young. I am past president of the Association for Inherited Cardiac Conditions, UK. I currently chair a group for South East England looking to implement and streamline pathways for all victims (and families) of sudden cardiac arrest or death. I have a passionate interest in raising the profile of arrhythmia, preventing sudden cardiac death in the young and identifying ways in which we can improve the care of patients and families living their lives with arrhythmia and inherited cardiac conditions.
