Position: Cardiac Electrophysiologist

Bert Vandenberk MD PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at KU Leuven (BE) alongside his role as a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist at UZ Leuven (BE). He completed his medical training as a Cardiologist at KU Leuven (BE) followed by an electrophysiology fellowship at UZ Leuven (BE) and 2 year at the University of Calgary (CA). He completed a Ph.D. on non-invasive risk stratification of ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. In his current role he focuses on catheter ablation procedures, with a particular interest in adult congenital heart disease, as well as clinical and translational research on ventricular arrhythmias.
