Position: Operations Manager and Principal Cardiac Physiologist
Location: Chertsey, UK

Celso started his career as Cardiac Physiologist many years ago as an Echocardiographer in the Philippines. Moved into Singapore where he started his EP & CRM training and became the Stereotaxis coordinator. He also had industry experience as Clinical Specialist for CARTO covering the Asia-Pacific region. He moved into the UK as the EP Lead and shortly thereafter, became the Lead Physiologist for cardiac diagnostics and now greatly involve in operational management in Cardiology.

Despite his busy management duties between cardiac diagnostics and cathlab, he has a strong commitment to continue his clinical practice and continue to support EP cases, device implantation and follow-ups. He also developed a Physiologist-led ILR implantation and obtained a dedicated lab time for ILR implants and extraction.

Celso has a passion for teaching and education. He believes that recognising the potential of fellow Cardiac Physiologists and develop their skills by extending the necessary support can make the department a better environment and promotes longevity for staff retention.

Now, Celso is developing and honing his skills for pacemaker implantation alongside with his supportive mentors.
