Position: Head of Cardiac Implantable Devices

Jamie is Head of Cardiac Implantable Devices at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. He is a registered Clinical Scientist and final year, HSST student. Actively involved in clinical research, he is currently undertaking his doctoral project, examining the utilisation of ultra-high frequency ECG mapping for CRT optimisation. Jamie is passionate about teaching and the delivery of quality education, lecturing nationally for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as on a variety of courses. He is particularly interested in advancing practice and service development, looking to establish a number of specialised clinics within his service as well as leading the IQIPS accreditation programme at QE Birmingham.
