Position: Professor of Cardiac Electrophysiology
Location: Leicester UK

Andre Ng is Professor of Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Leicester. His research focus is on Sudden Cardiac Death prediction and prevention as well as Atrial Fibrillation mechanisms. He leads a cross-disciplinary team of talented scientists including preclinical and clinical researchers as well biomedical engineers. He is a clinical expert in heart rhythm management, especially cardiac mapping and catheter ablation.
Professor Ng is a Fellow of several professional societies and is on the British Heart Foundation Project Grants Committee and is currently Vice President (Elect) (Research & Education) of the British Cardiovascular Society.
In addition, he is a recognized leader in early technology evaluation and development for cardiac electrophysiology, proctors for new technologies and is director of international training courses.
