Ciara Rice was a member of the ESC Task Force for the 2018 Guidelines for the diagnosis and management of syncope. She has worked as clinical nurse specialist in Falls and Syncope in St James Hospital Dublin since 2008 and recently set up a new Emergency Department Syncope Service. She has a diploma in Syncope and related disorders, a graduate diploma in critical care and cardiovascular care and an MSc in Cardiology and Stroke.
