Position: Consultant Neurologist
Location: Manchester UK

Paul Cooper is a Consultant Neurologist at the Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centre, his particular clinical interest is the assessment of patients with blackouts, and particularly those were the diagnosis is not straightforward. His current research focus is new technological ways to diagnosis the cause of blackouts, collaborating with Manchester Heart Centre.

He was Chair of the NICE 2010 Guideline on Transient Loss of Consciousness, and he continues to have a number of roles at NICE, including as Expert Adviser to the Centre for Guidelines.
