Dr Hnin Zaw is a Cardiology Registrar in the East of England Deanery with specialist interests in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs). She holds a British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Training Fellowship supporting her doctoral research at Barts Heart Centre and University College London. Dr Hnin Zaw obtained her medical degree from the University of Medicine, Myanmar, before completing an MBA with Merit at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Her PhD investigates the mechanisms of CIED lead failure, leveraging national registry data, remote monitoring, and intracardiac electrogram analysis to identify predictors of early lead failure and advance post-market device surveillance.
