Prof. Dr. Cem Karadeniz is a pediatric cardiac electrophysiologist and Professor of Pediatric Cardiology based in İzmir, Türkiye. He serves as the Director of Pediatric Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology at İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University and İzmir City Hospital, where he leads a high-volume tertiary referral program dedicated to the diagnosis and management of complex cardiac rhythm disorders in children. Dr. Karadeniz has extensive experience in invasive electrophysiology, having performed over 2,000 procedures, including catheter ablation and device implantation. His clinical expertise focuses on pediatric supraventricular tachycardias, accessory pathway ablation, and advanced three-dimensional electroanatomic mapping techniques with a strong emphasis on near-zero fluoroscopy approaches to enhance patient safety. He completed advanced training in pediatric electrophysiology at the Pediatric and Genetic Arrhythmia Center in Istanbul and further broadened his experience through an observership at Texas Children’s Hospital. Dr. Karadeniz is an active member of the Heart Rhythm Society and contributes regularly to international scientific meetings.
