Position: Arrhythmia Nurse Specialist
Location: Peterborough, UK

I joined the arrhythmia nurse team at NWAFT in 2022. Since joining, I have completed the arrhythmia module, non-medical prescribing and clinical assessment skills courses. My role involves the assessment and management of patients presenting with acute arrhythmias to the emergency department or whilst an inpatient, provide patient support and advice regarding device and arrhythmia related issues, liaise and refer to tertiary centre arrhythmia/ICC team and I also deliver the DCCV lists and AF clinic. I have recently completed my ILR implanters course. Prior to joining the arrhythmia team, I worked at Royal Papworth Hospital in Critical Care as an ECMO specialist and ITU senior nurse. I am also an ALS instructor.
