Lydia Bradley

Speaking at: HRC2026

Position: CRM Service Lead Physiologist and ACP
Location: Stourbridge, UK

I began my career in cardiac physiology in 1998 at Sandwell General Hospital, where I worked as an Assistant Technical Officer while completing my Cardiac Physiologist training at Peoples College, Nottingham. During this time, I moved to the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, where I developed a strong interest in Cardiac Rhythm Management and became an accredited device physiologist. In 2009, I was appointed CRM Service Lead Physiologist. Since 2016, I have been actively involved in the implantation of Implantable Loop Recorders, contributing to professional education through presenting, teaching, and hosting ILR implanter training courses. I am committed to delivering high-quality patient care and advancing clinical practice within Cardiac Rhythm Management.

My professional interests include clinical research, service development, patient-centred care, and healthcare leadership. In 2019, I completed my MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice at the University of Worcester, which supported my progression into the role of Advanced Clinical Practitioner while continuing as CRM Lead Physiologist. In this role, I have developed and delivered specialist CRM services, including a box change consent clinic designed to enhance patient care and improve service provision.
