Professor of Cardiology at the Karolinska Institute and Senior Consultant at the Cardiology Clinic of Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden.
Artur Fedorowski graduated with honors from Wrocław Medical University in 1990 and obtained his PhD in 1999 in the fields of biophysics and experimental oncology, studying the effects of low-frequency electromagnetic fields on the growth of transplantable tumors. Since 2001, he has been residing in Sweden, where he completed specializations in family medicine, internal medicine, and cardiology. Since 2021, he has been living in Stockholm, actively engaged in research on the autonomic cardiovascular consequences of long COVID syndrome.
An expert in autonomic dysfunction of the cardiovascular system, cardiac arrhythmias, the diagnosis and treatment of syncope, blood pressure regulation disorders, cardiovascular biomarkers, immunological disorders in cardiology, long COVID-related cardiovascular complications, epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases, and novel methods for monitoring heart and circulatory parameters.
Co-author of numerous international recommendations on the diagnosis and management of syncope, POTS, and broader orthostatic and autonomic cardiovascular disorders, including arrhythmias. He is the author of approximately 300 peer-reviewed articles in international journals and 10 cardiology books.
He has lectured at numerous international cardiology, autonomic disorders, and neurology conferences and supervises multiple doctoral projects. In his daily work, he combines clinical practice with scientific research and numerous international lectures.
