I qualified from Newcastle upon Tyne Medical school in 1995 and completed higher specialist training in EP in the Northern Deanery. I have been a consultant cardiologist within the subspecialty of cardiac electrophysiology for 16 years at a tertiary centre. I have extensive experience in clinical electrophysiology and device implantation. my main areas of interest are ablation for persistent atrial fibrillation and the use of leadless devices for bradyarrhythmia and for heart failure.
