Atrial Fibrillation Nurse Specialist who specialises in the care, management, and education of patients with AF. We set up a novel based one of a kind community AF clinic service to manage and support patients with atrial fibrillation outside of a hospital setting, typically in a primary care or local community. This clinic aim to provide accessible, coordinated, and efficient care to improve outcomes and reduce hospital admissions. It offers a fast-track pathway for patients diagnosed with AF. The service is designed to reduce waiting times for diagnosis and treatment from approximately six months to just two weeks.
