Position: Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist

Professor Faizel Osman is Consultant Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and Honorary Professor of Cardiology with Warwick University and Coventry University. He is head of EP and Devices at UHCW and was appointed in 2008 to lead arrhythmia services for patients in Coventry and Warwickshire. He has extensive experience in cardiac electrophysiology/ablation, complex devices and extractions. He is active in arrhythmia research and and has successfully supervised several PhD research fellows and published in the field of arrhythmia. His on-going research projects include arrhythmias in sleep apnoea, magnetocardiography for sudden cardiac death risk prediction, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and impact of SGLT inhibitors on cardiac autonomic function.
