Research in pacing-induced ventricular dysfunction and cardiac implantable electronic device infection using novel imaging strategies (including PET/CT) leading to the award of her MD. In 2013 she was awarded the BHRS (clinical) young investigator of the year award. Appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at Manchester Royal Infirmary in 2015 with subspecialist interests in cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED) and heart failure.
