Mark Walsh is a congenital cardiologist with an interest in electrophysiology and inherited cardiac conditions. He is based at the Bristol Children's hospital which services the South West of England and South Wales. He is involved with the 100,000 genomes project, recruiting arrhythmia syndromes which have remained genetically elusive. He runs a high volume paediatric electrophysiology laboratory, which undertook 85 ablations last year. He has an active role in academic research with ongoing projects specialising in outcomes following paediatric ablation.
