Consultant Cardiologist at Essex Cardiothoracic Centre after qualifying from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College in 1995 and his cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology training in London and Edinburgh. In August 2007 Dr Harris was appointed to lead the development of arrhythmia services for the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre. He is also the arrhythmia lead for the Essex Cardiac and Stroke Network.

His special interests include investigation and treatment of all heart rhythm disorders, the use of advanced device therapy in the prevention of sudden cardiac death and the treatment of heart failure.
