Since graduating from Edinburgh University in 2007 I have worked within an acute cardiac setting throughout my nursing career. starting out as a Cardiac Cath lab/CCU nurse at the Bristol Heart Institute. Subsequently working at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, before taking up my present role in 2018.

I am currently one of the Arrhythmia Clinical Nurse Specialist at Worcester Royal Hospital. We are a small team supporting patient care in areas such as EP, complex devices, syncope and a nurse-led implantable loop recorder implant/removal service. I completed my Non-Medical Prescribing at Masters level in 2020, studying at Worcester University and I am currently in the process of obtaining my British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) accreditation.
