Position: Consultant Cardiologist
Location: Stockton on Tees, UK

Dr Matthew J Dewhurst is a consultant cardiologist and clinical lead for heart failure (HF) and cardiac rehabilitation at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. He also holds an honorary consultant contract at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, where he implants complex devices. His main focus from a clinical perspective over the last few years has been the development of a modern, integrated HF service locally, and collaborative HF pathways and Quality Improvement Projects across the Tees valley.
