Tootie Bueser

Position: Associate Director for Clinical Research
Location: London, UK

Tootie Bueser is the Associate Director for Clinical Research and a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) 70at70 Nurse Research Leader at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London. Prior to this she was the lead cardiac genetic nurse for the Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) services at King’s College Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital. She is currently completing a PhD as a Health Education England/NIHR Research Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow at King’s College London which is focused on improving the care of patients with ICCs. Tootie also has a background in cardiac rehabilitation and has worked in intensive care and acute medicine. She is the Immediate Past-President for the British Association for Nursing in Cardiovascular Care (BANCC) and has led on the establishment of the BANCC research forum. Tootie is on the editorial board of the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing and is on the Chief Nursing Officer's Shared Professional Decision-Making Council on Nursing Research. Tootie is a Trustee and member of the Clinical Expert Advisory Group for Cardiomyopathy UK.
