Position: Arrhythmia Nurse Specialist
Location: Basildon, UK

Sharon is an Arrhythmia Nurse Specialist with 10 years' experience in cardiac rhythm management and works at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre in Basildon.  During this time Sharon has helped to establish services within the tertiary and secondary care setting such as the transient loss of consciousness nurse-led clinic.  Most recently she set up a nurse-led cardioversion using conscious sedation service.  She is also a committee member of an arrhythmia patient support group affiliated with the British Heart Foundation - Essex Heartbeat.  Currently, she is working towards obtaining her Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice.
