Qualified from University of Manchester in 2003. Research in pacing-induced ventricular dysfunction and cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) infection using novel imaging strategies (including PET/CT) leading to the award of her MD.

In 2013 she was awarded the BHRS (clinical) young investigator of the year award. Appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at Manchester Royal Infirmary in 2015 with subspecialist interests in CIED implantation and heart failure. Current research interests in the prediction and prevention of both worsening heart failure and CIED infection.
