Specialist in Internal Medicine expert in the study of epidemiology, clinical management and pharmacological treatment of cardiovascular diseases, in particular atrial fibrillation.

In the last years he has gained significant experience in the study of clinical factors and concomitant diseases associated with atrial fibrillation. In particular, he studied the management of oral anticoagulant therapy and the relationship between atrial fibrillation and adverse clinical events (thromboembolic, bleeding, cardiovascular events, mortality).
