Dr Jones is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist, specialising in the management of all cardiac arrhythmias, including catheter ablation and complex device implantation. His doctoral thesis examined the role of catheter ablation for persistent atrial fibrillation in heart failure. He is catheter lab director at Harefield, and helped develop Harefield’s CRRISiS® (Clinical Risk Reduction in Simulated Settings) model for simulation-based teamwork and human factors training. His interest in rhythm extends beyond medicine, being a lifelong amateur violinist - he is a regular member and rotational leader of the European Doctors Orchestra.
