Dr Belinda Gray is currently a postdoctoral NHMRC Neil Hamilton Fairley Early Career Fellow at St George’s, University of London in Inherited Cardiac Diseases with Dr Elijah Behr. Dr Gray’s research focuses on risk stratification and prevention of sudden cardiac death in the young. Dr Gray graduated in medicine from the University of NSW in 2006 and completed her PhD thesis in Clinical and Genetic Studies in Inherited Arrhythmia Syndromes at the University of Sydney in 2016 with the support of a Heart Foundation PhD Scholarship. Dr Gray is a cardiologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia, and is a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney Medical School. She has presented in multiple national and international conferences and has been selected for the young investigator awards at the Heart Rhythm Society Annual Scientific meeting, and as a finalist in the Ralph Reader Prize for the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. She is an early career researcher with more than 30 peer reviewed publications.
