Alex was awarded a Darzi Fellowship at the Health Innovation Network where he is working on a project to reduce AF related stokes in South London through the use of mobile ECG devices. He is seconded from Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust where he’s been since 2008. In his role as Clinical Team Lead Dietitian, he combines a clinical role on the stroke and neuro-rehab unit with clinical leadership and management duties within the dietetic team at St Thomas’ Hospital. Alex is a visiting lecturer at King's College London and represents the British Dietetic Association on the Royal College of Physicans Inter-collegiate Stroke Working Party where is the dietetic lead for the 2016 National Clinical Guidelines for Stroke.
