Dr. Kaul is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Alberta. She is an epidemiologist and population health researcher.  She is the Director, Outcomes Research, at the Canadian VIGOUR Centre, an academic research organization at the University of Alberta.  Dr. Kaul’s research interests include examining sex differences in treatment and outcomes of cardiovascular disease.  She is particularly interested in the association between pregnancy complications and long-term development of chronic disease in women.
