Helen was appointed as an arrhythmia nurse specialist at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire in 2009, supporting ICD patients, those undergoing ablation and runs a nurse led syncope clinic which was short listed for the British Medical Journal awards in 2015. Helen has spent 20 years supporting cardiac patients having worked in cardiac rehabilitation and heart failure. Helen is the secretary for the British Association for Nursing in Cardiovascular care, has written a number of articles for the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing which she also peer-reviews for, has a masters in Advancing Nursing Practice and has just completed a NIHR Masters in research programme at Coventry University.
