Position: Consultant Cardiologist & Lead Electrophysiologist
Location: Stoke on Trent, UK
He is a Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in electrophysiology, cardiac device implantation and extraction, syncope and inherited cardiac conditions. He was the Lead Consultant for Electrophysiology; Devices and Inherited Cardiac Conditions Service at University Hospitals of North Midlands, developing and expanding all these services. He is now Cardiology Lead for Clinical Governance and Chairman of the Resuscitation Committee and GUCH lead at UHNS.
Nationally Dr Morley-Davies was the device representative on Heart Rhythm UK, the national professional body for physicians and allied professionals with an interest in heart rhythm disorders, co-ordinating their response to NICE guidance on cardiac resynchronisation therapy and implantable defibrillators.
He is an invited speaker/chair at meetings of the British Cardiovascular Society, British Heart Rhythm Society and Royal College of Anaesthetists.
