Position: Cardiac Rhythm Management Research Fellow/ Cardiology Specialist Registrar

Ben Wiles is a Cardiac Rhythm Management Research Fellow at University Hospital Southampton, a Cardiology Specialist Registrar in the Wessex Deanery and a PhD student at the University of Southampton. His research concerning mathematical vector rotation and the generation of a novel subcutaneous ICD sensing mechanism was shortlisted for the Young Investigator’s Prize at HRC 2017. Ben is currently the British Junior Cardiologists' Association representative on the British Heart Rhythm Society Council. He also sits as a Trainee Representative on the British Cardiovascular Society Programme Committee.
