Dr Matthew Fay is General Practitioner in Affinity Care, a single partnership covering 8 contracts and 65,000 patients. He is the Clinical Chief executive and is now based at The Willows in Queensbury, Bradford. In 2001 Matthew established a GPwSI cardiology service in Bradford which has expanded to provide direct access investigations and e-consultations. Trustee of AF Association and Thrombosis UK. He was a member of the NICE AF Guideline Development Group and is a standing committee member of NICE Quality Standard Advisory Committee. He has been in service redesign of cardiovascular services with a focus for many years and has previously worked in Bradford’s PCTs and CCG but is currently focused on the development of the “Super practice” Affinity Care in Bradford as a father of four he insists that he is first and foremost a family doctor.
