Speaking at: HRC2018
Position: Consultant Cardiologist
Location: London, UK
I did my general cardiology training in Ireland before moving to London in 1996 to specialise in interventional electrophysiology. I finished my EP training at St George’s Hospital in 2002 and moved to Rome to start a new unit in this field. I returned to the UK in 2007, taking up a post in Cardiff, then returned to St George’s Hospital the following year. I was clinical director for Cardiac and Vascular from 2012 to 2017. My main field of research and clinical interest is ablation for persistent AF, but I am also active in CRT techniques and non-laser lead extraction.
