Kath has worked in the health service for 43 years. In 1994 she joined the Yorkshire regional genetics service in Leeds where she continues to work as a genetic counsellor with a special interest in Inherited Cardiovascular conditions.
In 2007 when the ICC service in Leeds expanded she undertook the additional role as coordinator and continues to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team, and is involved in the development of the service.
