My background within cardiology and heart rhythm disturbance spans for several years - my career as a nurse, for many more.

It is this and life experiences that created my passion for empathy, understanding and the psychological impact of chronic and acute cardiac illness.

Working at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, has allowed me to develop my own strategies within the field of cardiac device implants, which includes assessment, counselling and education for patients and their families. This service has now evolved and continues to expand within the care and treatment of heart failure, along with the continuing aspects of general and life threatening arrhythmia.
