Position: Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist

Originally from Western Australia, Jane combines post-graduate physiotherapy education and research at University College London with clinical work a rehabilitation physiotherapist at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in London where she specialises in working with young people with hypermobility related problems. Jane’s interest in Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) arose from treating complex patients with tissue laxity, dysautonomia, pain and fatigue. She works closely with medical consultants, psychologists and families to develop and implement treatment plans.  Jane is physiotherapy advisor to several patient charity groups including PoTSUK, HMSA, EDS UK and the EDS Society. She writes and reviews regularly for peer reviewed journals and has led on the writing of the PoTS exercise rehabilitation guidelines. Jane regularly runs CPD courses which include PoTS management within the context of hypermobility and Ehlers Danlos syndrome and presents at national and international conferences.
