I am EPSRC-IAA research fellow at the Computational Cardiovascular Science Team at the University of Oxford. I joined the group, led by Professor Blanca Rodriguez, for my DPhil as part of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network (PersonalizeAF), with the aim of developing tools for the systematic analysis of novel and existing treatments for atrial fibrillation. My DPhil focused on conducting in silico trials (i.e., assessment of clinical trials using digital twins) for a better stratification of patients to optimal therapies. My ongoing project, after completion of my DPhil, consists of integrating computational tools, such as in silico trials, into clinical research to advance precision medicine in atrial fibrillation.
