Position: Principal Cardiac Physiologist
Location: Hampshire, UK

Cristiana is Principal Cardiac Physiologist for Hampshire Hospitals, co-leading the Cardiac Physiology department. She is focused on organisational growth, interdepartmental collaborations, advanced practice and equitable patient journeys. She has worked across the public, academic and independent health sectors, and has a Master’s in Global Health Policy from LSHTM. Cristiana is a certified cardiac devices specialist by IBHRE, BHRS and EHRA, and EACVI and BSE accredited in adult transthoracic echocardiography. She has co-edited the latest edition of the Oxford Handbook of Echocardiography. She is actively engaged in increasing female representation in STEM professions, and took part in the 2021 cohort of the Innovation Forum Oxford WE ACE programme. She is a STEM ambassador, a member of the Arrhythmia Alliance Medical Advisory Board, and a Mind campaigner. She has previously chaired and been a member of other working groups and associations.
