Dr. Nadir is a distinguished Cardiologist trained in the United States. He is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at University of Birmingham and a Fellow of American College of Cardiology as well as European Society of Cardiology. Dr Nadir completed his cardiology training in the West Midlands. He was British Heart Foundation Fellow from 2008-2011 and his research work has been published in leading international journals, notably the Lancet, Circulation, and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. He was awarded a highly prestigious advanced fellowship in interventional and structural cardiology at the world-renowned Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, USA. On his return from the USA in 2017 he joined as a Consultant Cardiologist for structural heart interventions at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is leading expert in transcatheter heart valve interventions including mitral and tricuspid valve repair and replacements.
