Position: Professor of Medicine
Location: Stanford, US
Dr. Narayan is Professor of Medicine, Director of the Computational Medicine Training Program and Co-Director of the Arrhythmia Center at Stanford University. Dr. Narayan works at the intersection of cardiology, bioengineering and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve patient care. Dr. Narayan's Computational Arrhythmia Research Laboratory has studied repolarization and conduction dynamics in patients with atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmias. His lab pioneered computerized mapping to personalize ablation for atrial fibrillation and has used computer models and machine learning to study their mechanisms.
Dr. Narayan has published over 300 peer-reviewed articles, reviews and book chapters. He received the Distinguished Scientist award of the Heart Rhythm Society in 2022.
