Professor Wright has been a consultant with a specialist interest in heart failure and device therapy for 20 years, leading the service at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. A keen interest in technology development, outcome analysis and quality assurance has seen him sit on several international RCT steering committees, publish more than 100 peer review papers and supervise a number of higher degrees.
