Position: Professor of Cardiology and Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist
Location: Odense, DK

I am a Professor of Cardiology and consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist and currently working at the Department of Clinical Research, the Department of Cardiology at Odense University Hospital and the Department of Cardiology at the University Hospital of Southern Denmark, Esbjerg. My main research interest is in atrial fibrillation, in particular detection of atrial by long-term monitoring in different populations, outcomes in different populations of atrial fibrillation patients, and risk factors for atrial fibrillation and their management. In 2012, I have established the first interdisciplinary atrial fibrillation in clinical routine in Denmark. I also very much enjoy educating my medical students and my engagement in postgraduate medical education activities.
