Dr Parsons is a British Army Cardiology doctor and a lecturer in Military Medicine at the Royal Centre of Defence Medicine.  He is currently completing a PhD in vasovagal syncope in the UK Armed Forces particularly focusing on the effect of heat, exercise and prolonged standing as triggers for autonomic dysfunction.
