Professor Haran Burri is an electrophysiologist at the Cardiology Department of the University Hospital of Geneva (Switzerland), where he is director of the device program. After graduating from the University of Geneva in Geneva in 1992, he completed his specialization in Internal Medicine and in Cardiology before training in electrophysiology in Lyon (France). He obtained EHRA certification in cardiac pacing in 2006 and in electrophysiology in 2008. His research has focused on device therapy and catheter ablation, with over 200 publications. He has served as President of the Working Group of Pacing and Electrophysiology of the Swiss Society of Cardiology and is active in the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) where he chaired the Education Committee and Scientific Program Committees, and currently serves on the Executive Board as Treasurer for 2020-2022.
