HELMUT FRIEDRICH PÜRERFELLNER, MD, FESC, FHRS, is head of the Department of Electrophysiology and Senior Consultant at Ordensklinikum Linz, Austria.  He has been actively working for the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA)  since 2011 including a duty as Scientific Program Chair for the Annual Congress (6000 participants in 2017) and was  elected in the Executive Board as Treasurer for 2018-2020. He currently serves as the International Affairs Coordinator in the period 2020-2022.
