Position: Cardiologist

He is a cardiologist who specialises in heart failure and implantation of cardiac devices. He is the lead for heart failure services at the Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University.

His Heart Failure training was at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London and subsequently Papworth Hospital, Cambridge before completing advanced studies in heart failure at the University Hospital of Zurich. His training in device implantation was at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre.

He completed his research MD at Imperial college London, and during that time was awarded the Young Investigator for Clinical Research by the European Society of Cardiology, Heart Failure Association. His research interests are in the area of prediction of heart failure worsening, utilising biomarkers and implanted cardiac devices. He continues to contribute towards the development of a contemporary heart Failure service in Essex.
